Originally from St. Simons Island, GA, she holds a BS in Psychology from Liberty University and an MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Richmont Graduate University, where she also earned a Trauma Counseling Certificate. Brooke specializes in life transitions, anxiety, depression, self-worth, and attachment wounds. She uses a relational and integrative approach, blending cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), art and play therapy, and mindfulness. Brooke offers a nurturing space for emotional growth and often incorporates her therapy dog, Simon, into sessions upon request.

Catherine is the founder of Blu Iris Counseling and a Licensed Professional Counselor in both Georgia and Colorado. She is known for creating a therapeutic space rooted in warmth, creativity, and the belief that healing is always possible. Catherine works with adults and adolescents navigating substance use and complex trauma, offering trauma-informed care that honors each person’s resilience and story. She earned her BA in Psychology from the University of Georgia and her MA in Marriage & Family Therapy, with a certification in trauma, from Richmont Graduate University. Her work draws from EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory, Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Cognitive-Behavioral strategies.
